Elizabeth Gillies

Gillies began her acting career at the age of 12 by attending local casting shows. The actress soon started appearing in commercials of companies such as Virgin Mobile. Gillies was the first actress to be featured on TV. appearance as a character for three episodes of The Black Donnellys. The parents of her did not permit her to see the entire series because they felt it was inappropriate. [citation needed] In 2008 she was cast in minor roles in the musical The Clique, Harold, and Locker 514. The summer before, Ariana, who would be later in Victorious along with her, was chosen to play alongside her in Lucy in an Goodspeed production of Jason Robert Brown's 13 musical. Following that it was the year that the Broadway rendition of 13 released, and it became the first Broadway production with a cast made entirely up of teenagers. Gillies was featured in the big performances "Opportunity" and "It Can't Be True" and smaller parts in different songs, such as the title song, "Hey Kendra" and "Getting Ready". Gillies continued working on the program until it ended on January 4, 2009.
