Sandrine Holt was the mother of Sandrine Ho, who was born in London on 19 November 1972. Her parents are Chinese and French parents. When she was five, she moved to Toronto in Canada, and has been calling it home since then. Before she became an actress, she was a Paris catwalk model. In the 1991 film Black Robe, she made her debut in film as Annuka. The actress was nominated for a Canadian Oscar nominee for this character. The movies Rapa Nui Rise in Paradise The Legend of Pocahontas and Dance with the Murderer followed as well as guest appearances on Poltergeist The Uncanny Force and Outer Limits The Unknown Dimension. John Woo's The Thief saw her appear in 22 of the episodes. The movie Starship Troopers 2 Hero of the Federation came out in 2004 which is only available on DVDVHS as well as Resident Evil Apocalypse. Following a string of small roles on 24 Twenty Four, Runaway and other films she got her first bigger role as the main character. The career of Holt began when she appeared in appearances on TV as guest stars and in smaller films. Holt then took the part of the leader in Hostages which was released in 2013 and a secondary role in Netflix's House of Cards. In the US remake of The Returned, Holt played Julie Han. She was also in the role of the role of Dr. Bethany Exner in 2015.
